The name "The Iron N" is inspired by the iconic red N, in the official Iron font, that serves as the seal of the Huskers. But that N is so much more: it represents Nebraska as a whole, and the school and its teams from which this state draws so much of its identity and pride. "The Iron N" serves as a reminder of the passion and tradition that we carry on as students, and of our unwavering loyalty and belief in the Huskers - "through all kinds of weather."
